This novel is a magical story that reveals the essence of life, goodness, repentance and forgiveness. Due to the simplicity of the prose style, breezy and careful illustrations, vividness of imagination this simple yet insightful story is considered to be one of the greatest literary works of all times. This book is based on an attempt to persuade us that if we do wrong, we will end up in the throes of despair and anguish for a better future. Apparently the author scares us about the exploitation of our youth; just as we have seen the central character Baba Adamu who misused his childhood and finally harvested the seed he had planted. The story also shows us the importance of knowledge, as we have seen that Muhammad used his knowledge to remind Baba Adamu what he did not know or forget as he was on the verge of leaving the world. This book contains important lessons that are so important in our modern days where you will find people recklessly doing illegal acts that are prohibited by God to which in the end they will be held accountable. The author of the book has made a commendable effort to convey to us a great knowledge of knowing that as servants of God all the evil things one has done as far as he will repent sincerely will be forgiven by God.
